Job Description

We are looking for a BC/BE Stroke Neurologist to join a fast-paced, consult-only inpatient program at a Level II Trauma Center and Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. This is a focused, high-impact role for a physician who wants to be at the center of acute stroke care-without the demands of an outpatient panel.

    High-Acuity Clinical Focus: Manage complex stroke and seizure cases in a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with robust support services and a strong multidisciplinary team.

    Stroke-Focused Caseload: Manage acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, TIA, status epilepticus, and complex inpatient neurology consults alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

    Advanced Technology: State-of-the-art hospital with continuous video EEG capabilities on-site. Experience with neurodiagnostics is a plus. *Candidate is not required to interpret the EEGs, but the opportunity is available if candidate is interested.

    Pure Inpatient Consult Model: Primarily inpatient consult model, clinic is optional. Your time and expertise stay where they matter most-at the bedside.

    Predictable Schedule: 7 AM-7 PM day shifts with structured after-hours call. A sustainable schedule designed for long-term career satisfaction. *Can take calls from home, not required to stay in house for your full shift.

Qualifications:

  • \n

    MD or DO; Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology

  • \n
  • \n

    Vascular Neurology or Stroke fellowship strongly preferred; strong general neurology background considered

  • \n
  • \n

    Recent fellowship graduates and experienced stroke neurologists equally welcome

  • \n
  • \n

    Expertise in acute stroke evaluation, tPA administration, and coordination with neurointerventional and neurocritical care teams required

  • \n
