Position Overview

We are currently seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist specializing in cardiac imaging (including CT, MRI, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography) to join our Heart Center. The successful applicant will take on the role of Director of Cardiac Imaging, contributing to the growth of our Heart Center team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on imaging while also engaging in inpatient general pediatric cardiology services and outpatient clinics.
  • Participate in teaching medical students and other academic activities.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO with board certification in pediatric cardiology.
  • Required clinical expertise in cardiac CT and MRI.
  • Experience in fetal echocardiography is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Leadership experience in heart programs and research is preferred.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio.
About Our Heart Center

Our Heart Center is a robust service line featuring a mix of senior and junior faculty, including 2 congenital heart surgeons, 16 pediatric cardiologists (2 of whom are interventional cardiologists), and 7 advanced practice providers. Together, we deliver comprehensive, compassionate cardiac care to over 16,000 patients each year across 10 locations. Our program conducts more than 320 combined OR and catheterization cases annually, with approximately 100 CT and MRI procedures performed each year. Established for 25 years, our heart program offers a full range of services, including a dedicated multi-acuity heart unit, single ventricle palliation, adult congenital heart disease care, and extensive interventional cardiology and electrophysiology programs.
