As a Diesel Technician, you will thrive in a dynamic environment, ensuring cleanliness and friendliness in your workspace. Your role will involve engaging with customers and drivers from diverse backgrounds, enhancing their travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, air conditioning, and engine components.
- Assist customers with roadside assistance services.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks.
- Capable of lifting and moving over 75 pounds in confined spaces and working in varying temperatures.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction by adhering to organizational safety policies and procedures.
- Work on a rotating schedule that includes both day and night shifts as required.
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (cost covered by the organization).
