Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Take on a rewarding role supporting high-risk obstetric care as a skilled ultrasound professional. This position focuses on OB/MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) sonography, catering to a patient population with complex pregnancies in an advanced, collaborative setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- Weekdays only; no weekends
- No holiday coverage
- No required floating
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- 1-2 years of recent experience in OB/MFM sonography
- Proficient with nuchal translucency scanning
- MFM sonography experience must be within the last 2 years
- ARDMS certification in Obstetrics required
- Current BLS certification (AHA approved)
- NT certificate preferred, but not mandatory
- Familiarity with AIUM Guidelines for Level II (Detailed Second Trimester), First Trimester Screening, and procedures such as amniocentesis/CVS
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed sonographic assessments for high-risk pregnancies including twins, triplets, fetal anomalies, and first/second trimester screenings
- Operate GE E10 and Expert 22 ultrasound systems with proficiency
- Document and communicate findings using GE Viewpoint
- Assist in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a daily caseload of 10-12 patients
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of 10-14 fellow sonographers
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation process (up to 5 days)
- Wear black scrubs as part of the professional attire
