Job Description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Bilingual School Psychologist, supporting students across multiple campuses in an itinerant capacity. This full-time position is perfect for those who are fluent in both Spanish and English and are passionate about making a difference in the educational experience of students from Early Childhood through 12th grade. You’ll play a key role in evaluating student needs, supporting learners, and collaborating within ARD meetings during the academic year.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential, granted by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Bilingual proficiency: fluent in both English and Spanish
- Previous school-based experience is required
- Comfortable working with a diverse caseload, from ages 3 through high school seniors
- Strong commitment to supporting students with a variety of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Adaptable and eager to serve at multiple school sites as assigned
- Must be ready to complete TEA fingerprinting for credentialing, if not already cleared by another Texas public school district
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive evaluations to support ARD meeting processes
- Attend and actively participate in ARD meetings to guide educational planning
- Manage a caseload averaging 9 evaluations per month
- Provide consultative services and support to students, families, and staff
- Maintain organized documentation and comply with district, state, and ethical guidelines
