What we’re looking for:
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students in school settings, especially in special education
- Ability to conduct and interpret psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Dedication to fostering inclusive, positive learning environments
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering psychological services to students in alignment with educational goals
- Conducting assessments for special education eligibility and required re-evaluations
- Collaborating with educators and administration on interventions and support plans
- Counseling students individually and in groups, as needed
- Participating in IEP meetings, providing expertise on student learning and behavior
- Keeping thorough records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Choose from two supportive school communities:
- An elementary school serving approximately 564 students, including 90 in special education, and managing 7 re-evaluations
- A high school with a projected enrollment of 824, 176 special education students, and 64 re-evaluations Both positions begin as soon as possible and extend through the end of May, 2027, so you’ll have stability and the chance to make a lasting difference.
