Orthopedic Surgery - Major Health Partners #3994

- Professional & Technical Skills \n
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery \n
- Fellowship training in joint replacement (preferred but not required) \n
- Active or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Indiana \n
- Provide comprehensive general orthopedic care \n
- Perform hip and knee joint replacement surgeries \n
- Diagnose and manage fractures and other acute injuries \n
- Participate in shared ED call coverage \n
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care \n
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation \n

- Clinic 2 days/ week, OR 2 days/ week, and off 1 day \n
- Take call every 5th weekend and 1 day each weekday. The non-operative doctors will reach out to the surgeons if they feel there is a surgical situation, but it is rare that someone has to physically come into the hospital while on call. Most of it is done virtually or by phone. \n
