Department Details- Department: Physical Therapy Outpatient
- Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours, Monday to Friday
- Facility: Orthopedic Center
- Location: Auburn, ME 04210
- Work in a hospital-based outpatient environment.
- Utilize an EMR system integrated with all healthcare providers in the region.
- Practice hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Focus on individualized patient care with one-on-one sessions.
- No double bookings or overlapping appointments.
- Schedule is driven by therapists.

ResponsibilitiesThe role involves providing medically prescribed physical therapy services aimed at evaluating, treating, and restoring function while enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities. You will deliver patient-centered care in line with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.
- Conduct patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments.
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional enhancement.
- Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and recovery objectives.
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards.
- Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate).
- Current state Physical Therapy license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
