Senior Accounting Technician

Senior Accounting TechnicianLocation: Truro, UK Hours: 37/WeekDuration: 6 Months

Job purpose To assist the relevant accountant in providing a range of high quality and cost effective financial management, accounting and financial information services to client department(s) to facilitate the successful management of the clients departments**.**

Accountabilities: Provide financial information and advice to departmental staff Ensure that the activities of the client department are properly budgeted Ensure sound methods of budgetary control are in operation Prepare monthly budget monitoring information and forecast outturn Ensure that all relevant financial returns/grant claims are completed

Functional competencies: Previous relevant experience Ability to maintain and report and present information.

Qualifications, training or other requirements: AAT qualified would be desirable. Competent in the use of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Previous use of the SUN system (desirable)
