Management Accountant

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established organisation within the housing sector to recruit an experienced Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive finance team in a position that offers a strong blend of technical accounting responsibilities and team leadership.
\nReporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the month-end management accounts process while supporting and overseeing junior members of the team. Alongside ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust financial controls, you will gain exposure to a wide range of finance activities, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Management Accountant looking to remain hands-on while building upon their leadership experience within a stable and professional environment.

ACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE).

Good understanding of service charge accounting, including budgeting, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.

Strong experience preparing management accounts, including month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Previous experience within social housing or the wider property sector.
