Credit Controller

Our client is a long-established national business with a strong reputation in its marketplace, operating from over 250 locations across the UK and Ireland.

They are looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing 500+ Sales Ledger accounts across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Chasing overdue customers via telephone, email, and letters within agreed timescales
\n
• Regularly reviewing sales ledgers to identify overdue payments
\n
• Allocating payments and resolving account queries
\n

\n
• Confident and professional verbal and written communication skills
\n
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use own initiative
\n
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
\n
• Previous experience in Credit Control or Financial Services (preferred)
\n

• A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
\n

\n
• Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
\n
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
\n
• Company pension scheme
\n
• Company profit share (dependent on personal and company performance)
\n

\n
• Full-time, permanent
\n
• Either 9:00am-5:00pm (1-hour lunch) or 8:30am-4:30pm
\n

\n
• Credit control: 1 year (preferred)
\n
