Location: Liverpool

Pay: £18 – £20 per hour (via umbrella)

Contract: 3 months initially, with strong potential to extend

Start: Immediate

Requirements: Driver + Adult DBS issued within the last 3 years

Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Support Worker to support individuals with complex needs. You will manage a caseload of around 10 service users, providing person-centred support in their homes to help them maintain their tenancy, build independence, and access the services they need.

This is a community-based role, ideal for someone confident working autonomously and passionate about supporting vulnerable people to achieve stability and long-term wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one resettlement and tenancy sustainment support to a caseload of approximately 10 individuals
\n
• Support service users with complex needs, including mental health, substance misuse, and social vulnerabilities
\n
• Carry out home visits across Liverpool, helping individuals manage their tenancy and develop independent living skills
\n
• Complete risk assessments, support plans, and regular welfare checks
\n
• Help service users manage their tenancy, understand their responsibilities, and prevent tenancy breakdown
\n
• Provide practical support around budgeting, managing bills, and accessing financial advice
\n

About You

\n
• Experience supporting vulnerable adults, ideally within homelessness, resettlement, or complex-needs services
\n
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and tenancy sustainment
\n
• Confident working independently and managing a small but complex caseload
\n
• Driver with access to a vehicle
\n
• Adult Enhanced DBS issued within the last 3 years
\n
• Able to start immediately or within 1 week
\n
