HGV Driver Nights

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Shift (Full time or part time) -

\n

\n
• Nights - Shifts across Sunday to Saturday - 23:59pm Starts
\n
• Part Time - Friday night and Sunday Night
\n

\n

Pay Rate:

\n

\n

Class 2

\n

\n
• Nights -£17.42 per hour PAYE
\n

\n

Class 1

\n

\n
• Nights -£17.92 per hour PAYE
\n
• \n

\n

Location: Crawley RH10

\n

\n

Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent

\n

\n

The role:

\n

\n

· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

\n

\n

· Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

\n

\n

· Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.

\n

\n

· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

\n

\n

Requirements:

\n

\n

. Experience would be preferred but new passes will be considered

\n

\n

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Cat C)

\n

\n

· Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

\n

\n

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

\n

\n

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

\n

\n

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

\n

\n

· Excellent communication skills.

\n

\n

· A safety-first mindset.

\n
