\nPermanent, 37 hours per week – night shift
\nWe take immense pride in being a family-run business specialising in plastic extrusion and toolmaking. Due to growth within the company, we are now on the lookout for a Production supervisor to join our team.
\nResponsibilities:
\nAs a Production Supervisor/Setter, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our production line.
\nYour responsibilities will include but not limited to:
\n•Supervising and overseeing the production line to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
\n•Conducting thorough quality control checks to ensure our products meet our high standards.
\n•Utilising the Vernier Caliper to verify dimensional drawings accurately.
\n•Employing go-no go gauges for precision measurement assessment.
\n•Assisting with manual lifting and movement of finished products to their designated areas.
\nLocation and Facilities:
\nOur company is nestled in the picturesque Northwest of England, specifically Greenfield in Saddleworth. Our strategically located facility provides excellent access to major motorways, ensuring timely deliveries for our plastics extrusion products.
\nWorking Hours and Compensation:
\n10pm – 6am Monday to Thursday
\n4pm-9pm Friday
\nSkills and Experience:
\nThe successful candidate will possess:
\n•Thinks clearly and analytically
\n•Experience in PVCU extrusion
\n•Good understanding of the polymer plasticisation process
\n•Experience reading and understanding technical drawings
\n•Experience in tool changing
\n•Quality minded with great attention to detail
\n•Self-motivated, and with the ability to motivate others
\n•Excellent communication skills
\n•Experience of working in a factory environment
