I'm working with a progressive, expanding accountancy firm in Liverpool that's seeking an Audit Senior to join its growing team. This is an ideal step for someone who's ACA/ACCA qualified (or close to it) and wants more responsibility, more client interaction and a clearer pathway to advancement.

This isn't your standard audit position-you'll manage your own portfolio, work closely with clients, support junior colleagues and be part of a practice that truly invests in developing its people.

  Taking charge of audit assignments from planning through to completion, overseeing budgets, timelines, fieldwork and final reporting across a varied client base

\n

  Building and maintaining strong client relationships as a trusted adviser

\n
• \n

  Reviewing work and guiding junior team members, helping them strengthen their audit and accounts skills

\n
• \n

  Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies

\n
• \n

  Ensuring all assignments are delivered efficiently, accurately and to a high technical standard

• \n

  ACA/ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified)

\n
• \n

  Minimum of 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice

\n
• \n

  Solid understanding of UK audit and accounting standards

\n
• \n

  Confident leading audits and managing client relationships

\n
• \n

  Full UK driving licence

\n

Salary circa £40,000
