Surfacing Squad & Foreperson - Tayside / Fife / East Central

Breedon Surfacing Solutions provide a wide range of asphalt surfacing contracting services across the UK, delivering a comprehensive asphalt surfacing solution for the construction and maintenance of public highways; infrastructure; residential and industrial developments and minor works. Our client base ranges from domestic and commercial clients to large contractors, local authorities and government bodies.We have a requirement for a squad that will operate in the East Central Belt / Fife & Tayside area. The squad will comprise of the following roles:

1 Foreperson1 Screwman

1 Paver Operator

2 Roller Operators

1 Banksman

1 3CX Operator

1 Labourer

• Carry out work in accordance with instructions given by the Foreperson
\n
• Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained, safe to use and operated in the manner for which it was designed
\n
• Maintain all PPE to a high standard to ensure it is in a good serviceable condition
\n
• Support less experienced operatives
\n
• Maintain professional working practices
\n
• Ensure compliance with company rules, procedures and safety commitments
\n
• Report all accidents, incidents, near miss events, issues and concerns
\n
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements of the specification
\n

• Previous Surfacing Experience desirable, however full training will be provided
\n
• CSCS card desirable
\n
• Driving licence is essential for all roles
\n
