Trainee Quality Engineer

Our client are a precision engineering company supporting the motorsport (F1), aerospace, and medical sectors. We’re looking for a driven Trainee Quality Engineer eager to build a long-term career in quality and precision engineering.

• Supporting AS9100 quality compliance
\n
• Assisting with internal audits and documentation updates
\n
• Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections using:
\n
• Verniers, micrometers, height gauges
\n
• CMM equipment (full training provided)
\n
• Recording inspection data and ensuring full traceability
\n
• Assisting with non-conformance investigations and CAPA
\n
• Supporting continuous improvement activities
\n
• Helping prepare FAIRs, inspection reports, and quality metrics
\n

\n
• Basic engineering or manufacturing understanding
\n
• Strong attention to detail
\n
• Good communication and organisation
\n
• Microsoft Office skills
\n
• A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude
\n

\n
• Salary: £13–£14 per hour
\n
• Hours: 39 per week + overtime
\n
• Start Date: ASAP
