\nWe are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Porth, South Wales.
\nThis is a varied, hands-on role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the accounts function. We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and able to work independently while maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Managing the day-to-day accounts function. \n
- Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers. \n
- Processing invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations. \n
- Monitoring cash flow and assisting with credit control where required. \n
- Preparing and submitting payroll information to external accountants. \n
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end procedures. \n
- Ensuring financial records are kept up to date and compliant. \n
- Providing general bookkeeping and finance support as required. \n

- Previous experience in a bookkeeping role. \n
- Essential: Experience working with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS). \n
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and double-entry accounting. \n
- Experience managing purchase and sales ledgers. \n
- Payroll administration experience, including preparing payroll information for external accountants. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. \n
- Strong organisational and time management skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. \n
- Good IT skills, including experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. \n
- \n
- AAT qualification or equivalent, or qualified by experience. \n
- Experience working within the construction industry. \n
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software. \n
- \n
- Salary of £30,000-£35,000 DOE. \n
- Full-time, permanent position. \n
