Service Advisor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join a reputable automotive dealership in Barnstaple. The successful Service Advisor will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the effective operation of the service department.Benefits:\n

• Competitive basic salary of approximately £28,000, with potential for more depending on experience

• Achievable on-target earnings of around £30,000 including bonuses

• Working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
\n
• Alternate Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with Friday afternoons off beforehand
\n
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service

Duties of a Service Advisor:\n

\n
• Act as the main point of contact for customers within the service department, providing exceptional customer service
\n
• Manage service bookings and liaise effectively with technicians to coordinate repair schedules
\n
• Upsell additional services and products to enhance customer experience and department revenue
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and service history
\n
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the service department
\n
• Promote dealership services and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process
\n

Requirements:\n

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade sector
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
\n
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple bookings and customer needs
\n
• Professional approach with a commitment to high customer satisfaction
\n
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
\n
• Experience using manufacturer systems such as Vauxhall or Peugeot is advantageous but not essential
\n
