Finance Director Central London/ Hybrid Permanent £80,000 - £100,000Overview An excellent opportunity has arisen for a technically strong Finance Director to join a long-established family-owned investment group with interests spanning infrastructure investments, property and financial assets. This is a rare opportunity to join a stable and highly successful private organisation in a broad, hands-on leadership role, working closely with family shareholders and taking ownership of the Group's financial affairs.Responsibilities\n

- Reporting directly to the owners, you will be the Group's senior finance professional with responsibility for all financial reporting, tax compliance, treasury and governance activities. \n
- Leading the Group's financial management and reporting across multiple entities. \n
- Preparing and overseeing annual statutory accounts and group reporting. \n
- Managing corporation tax compliance, including consortium relief returns. \n
- Overseeing the remittance of dividends, directors' fees, subordinated debt interest and loan repayments from infrastructure investments. \n
- Maintaining and developing the Group's complex financial models used for pension trustee reporting. \n
- Producing annual financial reporting and quarterly Net Asset Value (NAV) reports for pension trustees. \n
- Managing quarterly VAT submissions to HMRC. \n
- Overseeing treasury activities, investment accounting and multi-currency banking. \n
- Managing and developing a small remote finance support team. \n
- Acting as a trusted adviser to the family owners on financial and commercial matters. \n

- This role will suit a technically accomplished finance professional who enjoys working within an owner-managed environment \n
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification, ideally gained through public practice. \n
- Around 5-7 years' post-qualified experience. \n
- A background in Group Finance with experience in statutory reporting, corporate tax compliance, treasury and stakeholder or investor reporting. \n
- Strong technical accounting skills with experience of group structures and consolidated reporting. \n
- Previous experience working closely with business owners or family shareholders, with the confidence and credibility to build trusted relationships. \n
- Experience within infrastructure, property, construction or other asset-intensive sectors where complex long-term contracts are common. \n
- The ability to understand and maintain sophisticated financial models. \n
- Knowledge of corporation tax and defined benefit pension schemes would be advantageous. \n
- Strong IT and financial systems skills, with experience of Yardi considered beneficial but not essential. \n
