Instrument & Resource Technician (Temporary)
\nLocation: NarboroughPay Rate:£13.91 per hourHours: 25–30 hours per weekContract: Temporary (Until permanent recruitment is completed later in the year)
\nWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking Instrument & Resource Technician to support our clients Music Service team on a temporary basis.
\nBased at their instrument storage unit, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting musical instruments from schools across the county, as well as assisting with the day-to-day organisation and management of the instrument store.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Drive a company van to deliver and collect musical instruments from schools. \n
- Load, unload and safely transport instruments and equipment. \n
- Assist with stock control and organisation of the instrument storage unit. \n
- Prepare instruments and resources for distribution. \n
- Support general warehouse, logistical and operational activities. \n
About the Role
\nThis is a physically active role that involves frequent lifting and moving of equipment. Duties may include collecting large numbers of instruments from schools, such as:

- Up to 100 brass instruments from one location. \n
- Delivery of 30 or more guitars to another school. \n
- Moving instrument stock between storage areas and vehicles. \n
Essential Requirements
\n- \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
- Must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years. \n
- Willingness to undergo driving licence checks. \n
- Ability to be added to the Local Authority's insurance policy and sign the necessary declarations. \n
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling duties. \n
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently. \n
- Strong communication and customer service skills. \n
