Conveyancing Paralegal

A well-established private practice law firm is seeking a motivated Conveyancing Paralegal to join its thriving residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive paralegal who wants hands-on experience, client exposure, and a clear route for progression.

The firm welcomes applications from candidates with experience in residential conveyancing, property transactions, or legal support roles.

The Role

You will assist fee earners and solicitors in managing residential conveyancing matters, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
\n
• Remortgages
\n
• Transfers of equity
\n
• New build transactions
\n
• Shared ownership matters
\n
• Preparing contract packs, searches, and enquiries
\n
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
\n

This role provides excellent exposure and opportunities to grow your conveyancing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the conveyancing team with day-to-day administrative and legal tasks
\n
• Drafting and preparing legal documents and correspondence
\n
• Updating clients throughout the transaction
\n
• Handling enquiries and gathering essential information
\n
• Managing files, onboarding clients, and handling AML requirements
\n
• Ensuring compliance with deadlines, procedures, and regulatory standards
\n

Requirements

\n
• Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or legal assistant
\n
• Strong understanding of residential conveyancing processes
\n
• Excellent communication and client-care skills
\n
• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
\n
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
\n
• Experience using case management systems is beneficial
\n
