Installation Technician (Electrical Bias)

The Role

We are looking for an Installation Technician with an electrical bias to support the build, installation, and commissioning of production machinery. This is a hands-on role, working on-site to install and set up production lines and automated equipment.

You will be involved in full installation projects, from first and second fix through to final commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble production machinery and equipment
\n
• Carry out electrical wiring (power, control & signal)
\n
• Support first and second fix installations
\n
• Assist with installation of full production lines
\n
• Work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics
\n
• Support commissioning and testing of machinery
\n
• Troubleshoot faults during installs and setup
\n
• Work alongside project teams on installation activities
\n
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality on site
\n

Requirements

\n
• Electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent)
\n
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in installation roles
\n
• Strong background in electrical installation and wiring
\n
• Experience installing industrial machinery or production lines
\n
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems
\n
• Experience working on projects and site-based installations
\n
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
\n
• Practical, hands-on, and detail-oriented
\n

Desirable

\n
• Experience with automated machinery or robotics
\n
• Exposure to manufacturing or production environments
\n
• Mechanical installation experience alongside electrical
\n
