The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a wide range of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable and compliant with industry standards.Key Responsibilities\n

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles.
\n
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
\n
• Complete preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime.
\n
• Carry out MOT preparation and rectification work where required.
\n
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
\n
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
\n
• Follow health and safety procedures and company standards at all times.
\n
• Work effectively as part of a skilled workshop team.
\n

About YouThe successful candidate will:\n

• Have previous experience working as an HGV Technician or in a similar commercial vehicle role.
\n
• Possess strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
\n
• Have a good understanding of HGV systems and mechanical components.
\n
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Take pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
\n
• Be reliable, professional and safety-focused.
\n

Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or an IRTEC qualification would be advantageous, although relevant experience will also be considered.What's on Offer\n
