\n\nWe are looking for a confident Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.You’ll be working 42 hours a week (to include days, nights, and alternate weekends), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove. Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove is our hospital for women in Staffordshire.
\n\nThere are two wards at the hospital; a 20 bed Acute service for women and an 11 bed Highly Specialised Personality Disorder Rehabilitation service. Crocus Ward provides a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission. Burleigh Ward provides specialised support for women with a personality disorder and other complex needs.
\nYour Day-to-Day…• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way• Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required• Support managementin the day-to-day running of the service• Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities• Safeguard• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
