Child Protection Conference Chair / Independent Chair - Leicester City Council

Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking an agency Child Protection Chair (Independent Chair).

The assignment will last 3 months initially, paid at £45 per hour.

The role will involve the following:

• Predominantly Initial and Review conferences
\n
• Conferences are hybrid with majority of initials in person and then we offer face to face to families for reviews and give them the option.
\n
• Most of the initials will be at Halford House and then reviews if in person either at Halford or in the community at children's centres dependent on risk and availability.
\n
• Hybrid working available: time outside of the meetings the chairs will predominantly work at home as admin/ virtual meetings.
\n

Requirements of the role:

\n
• Qualified Social Worker
\n
• Fully Social Work England registered
\n
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
\n
• Must have experience of undertaking the CP Chair role and extensive knowledge in the role
\n
