\n£45,000 - £57,000 DOE
\nWe are working with a well-established and growing aerospace manufacturing business, supplying precision components to globally recognised customers. Due to ongoing growth and business needs, they are seeking an experienced Planning Manager on a minimum 15-month interim contract.
\nThis is a key role within the operations team, responsible for delivering robust production plans that meet customer demand, improve on-time delivery, and drive operational efficiency across a complex and highly regulated environment.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand \n
- Lead the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process \n
- Monitor and improve KPIs, WIP, inventory, and on-time delivery performance \n
- Analyse production data to support informed decision making \n
- Work cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Quality teams \n
- Manage and develop the planning team, driving performance and continuous improvement \n
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost efficiencies \n
Requirements

- Proven experience in production planning within manufacturing \n
- Strong understanding of SIOP / ERP systems \n
- Experience working with KPIs, forecasting, and data analysis \n
- Advanced Excel skills \n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- Aerospace or other regulated industry experience \n
- CPIM or similar planning certification \n
- Degree in a relevant discipline \n
