Are you an experienced Accounts & Tax professional looking for a new challenge within a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice?Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a successful and well-established accountancy firm based in West London, who are seeking an experienced Accounts & Tax Manager to join their team.This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and client-focused individual to take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and tax services while playing an important role in the continued growth and success of the practice.The roleReporting to the partners, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and overseeing the delivery of accounts, tax and advisory services. Your key responsibilities as the Accounts & Tax Manager will include:\n

- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors \n
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders \n
- Overseeing personal and corporation tax compliance work \n
- Reviewing tax computations and ensuring deadlines are met \n
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing advice and building strong relationships \n
- Identifying opportunities to add value through proactive advice and support \n
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing guidance where required \n
- Supporting the development and improvement of internal processes and procedures \n
- Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders on client matters \n

- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment \n
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation \n
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients \n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships \n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities \n
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members \n
- ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience \n
