The Role\n

As a CNC Turner, in New Milton, Hampshire you'll play a key role in manufacturing precision-engineered components to exact customer specifications, ensuring the highest standards of quality & accuracy.

  • Setting up, operating & maintaining CNC turning machines
    • \n
  • Operating manual lathes & milling machines
    • \n
  • Reading & interpreting engineering drawings & technical specifications
    • \n
  • Producing precision components to tight tolerances
    • \n
  • Carrying out in-process inspections & quality checks
    • \n
  • Performing routine machine maintenance
    • \n
  • Working to AS9100 & ISO9001 quality standards
    • \n
  • Following health, safety & environmental procedures
    • \n
  • Collaborating with the wider engineering team to achieve production targets
    • \n
What we're looking for\n

To be successful in this CNC Turner role, you'll have:

    \n
  • Proven experience in CNC turning & manual machining
    • \n
  • The ability to confidently read engineering drawings
    • \n
  • Experience producing precision components to tight tolerances
    • \n
  • Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001 or similar quality standards
    • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail & problem-solving skills
    • \n

Desirable experience includes:

  • CNC programming using Fanuc or Siemens controls
    • \n
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge
    • \n
\n
