Job Description
Our client is looking for a Senior Customs Brokerage Agent to work under the Brokerage Manager.
\n\nSUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
\nEnsure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service.
\n\nWHAT YOU DO:
\n\nTasks and Duties
\n• Receive documents.
\n• Prepare customs entries in Customsware or other customs software.
\n• Understand the elements of the Import & export customs SOP.
\n• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems.
\n• Ensure timely customs clearance of shipments.
\n• Monitor customs clearances and communicate with Customers.
\n\nWHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING TO US :
\n• Global logistics industry knowledge
\n• Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
\n• Fluent in English
\n\nProduct Agent Job Specific Performance Expectations
\n• Timely and Accurate Shipment Processing
\nEnsures smooth and timely freight process flow according to Company operational procedures. Follows customer's standard operating
\nprocedures and proactively notifies customers of any issues. Consistently meets KPI standards, as per company's procedures.
\n\n• Timely and Accurate Data Entry
\nEnsures accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems according to Company operational procedures and customer
\nrequirements. Monitors exception reports for quick data integrity resolution.
\n\n• Timely and Accurate Billing and Accounting
\nInvoices customers the expected charges timely and accurately and according to Company and customer requirements. Properly provisions
\nservice provider charges to avoid reserves. Follows proper credit approval processes in order to minimize risk and protect the company.
\n\nThe hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm but flexibility is required
\n\nSalary depending on experience.
