Join one of Reed’s long standing clients, a dynamic northern-based creative agency in this brand-new role as an Art Director. The team is expanding due to continued business growth, offering the opportunity to lead the creative direction of integrated online and offline campaigns for a premium consumer brand.
\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping brand storytelling, delivering standout creative, and working across multiple touchpoints in a fast paced agency environment.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Lead the development and execution of creative concepts across campaigns, marketing materials, and digital platforms. \n
- Oversee visual style, imagery, and overall creative direction for projects. \n
- Collaborate with in-house stakeholders, external suppliers, and the customer to deliver cohesive campaigns. \n
- Manage and mentor our team of creative professionals. \n
- Review and approve key visuals and social media campaign assets to ensure quality and consistency. \n
- Present concepts and strategies to the client and our Creative Director. \n
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to maintain innovative output. \n
- Ensure all creative work aligns with brand guidelines and messaging. \n
- Help manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Proven experience as an Art Director or in a senior creative role. \n
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative leadership and design expertise. \n
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). \n
- Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual storytelling. \n
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills. \n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. \n
- Proven ability to adapt and learn existing customer brand styles and creative output. \n
- Strategic thinking with a strong attention to detail. \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience). \n
- Typically 5+ years of experience in design/creative roles, with leadership experience preferred. \n
