About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to help shape the next generation of data applications within our Data & Analytics function.

As our technology stack evolves, we're moving beyond traditional reporting solutions and investing in modern, interactive applications built on the Databricks platform. This role will play a key part in establishing our front-end application capability, building scalable solutions, and defining engineering best practices.

You'll work closely with data engineers, analytics teams, architects, and business stakeholders to design and develop enterprise-grade applications that enable users to interact with data in new and innovative ways.

This is an opportunity to influence technical direction, establish standards, and help build a modern application development capability from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern front-end applications built on the Databricks platform.
\n
• Build full stack solutions that integrate seamlessly with enterprise data platforms and APIs.
\n
• Develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for data-driven applications.
\n
• Work closely with backend developers, data engineers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
\n
• Champion engineering best practices across application architecture, testing, security and deployment.
\n
• Help define governance and development standards for front-end applications within an enterprise environment.
\n
• Review code, mentor developers and contribute to technical decision-making.
\n
• Ensure applications are scalable, secure and maintainable.
\n
• Participate in solution design, technical planning and architecture discussions.
\n
• Support CI/CD processes and modern software engineering practices.
\n

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

\n
• Extensive experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong front-end focus.
\n
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
\n
• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks such as:\n

  \n
  • Angular
  \n
  • js
  \n
\n
• Experience building enterprise web applications.
\n
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API integration.
\n
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive UI development.
\n
• Knowledge of authentication and security best practices.
\n
• Experience working with Git and modern DevOps workflows.
\n
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
\n

Desirable

\n
• Experience developing applications within Databricks.
\n
• Experience using Databricks Apps or related Databricks application tooling.
\n
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
\n
• Experience working with Python.
\n
• Experience integrating with data platforms and analytics solutions.
\n
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
\n
• Experience working within regulated or financial services environments.
\n
