HGV Driver

Shifts: Night and day shifts available | Monday to Friday, with weekend work available

Adecco is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics and transport provider for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) based in Colchester.

As an HGV Class 1, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. You will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and compliance.

• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety

• Report on time for scheduled shifts and communicate any issues promptly
\n
• Complete deliveries and collections according to operational requirements
\n
• Follow all company procedures, customer requirements, and road traffic regulations
\n
• Adhere to EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
\n
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
\n
• Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and well maintained
\n
• Ensure accurate completion of relevant paperwork and records
\n

• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence
\n
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• ADR certification
\n
• Strong communication skills
