A leading UK insurer is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager to join its evolving Risk function. This is a high-impact role providing second-line oversight and challenge across a broad enterprise risk landscape, supporting senior leaders in making informed, risk-aware decisions.

The Role

  • Deliver independent Line 2 oversight across enterprise risks, including operational, financial crime, insurance, legislative, and regulatory risk
  • \n
  • Provide clear, outcome-focused risk opinions into governance forums, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
  • \n
  • Partner with business leaders to embed risk-informed decision-making across the organisation
  • \n
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen risk culture, enhance risk data and MI, and drive forward-looking risk practices
  • \n

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in enterprise risk within Financial Services (General Insurance advantageous)
  • \n
  • Strong ability to interpret complex risk issues and communicate them clearly and effectively
  • \n
  • Proven capability to influence at senior level, with experience driving capability and setting high standards
  • \n
  • A structured, pragmatic approach with a focus on delivering meaningful business impact
  • \n
