Location: Bury (Hybrid working available) Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + benefits

About the Role

\n

As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering both strategic and operational HR support to clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll coach managers and business owners through a wide range of people-related matters.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Provide expert HR and employment law advice across:\n
      \n
    • Disciplinary & grievance
    • \n
    • Performance management
    • \n
    • Sickness absence
    • \n
    • Restructures and redundancies
    • \n
  • \n
  • Produce clear, step-by-step guidance alongside all required documentation
  • \n
  • Manage employee relations cases end-to-end, including investigations and formal processes
  • \n
  • Develop and review HR policies, procedures, and employee relations strategies
  • \n
  • Support clients with improving people practices and operational efficiency
  • \n
  • Coach and upskill managers to ensure best practice and minimise risk
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders (e.g. ACAS, unions)
  • \n
  • Stay up to date with evolving employment legislation
  • \n

About You

\n

You will be a confident and proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

\n

Key requirements:

\n
    \n
  • CIPD Level 5 (minimum)
  • \n
  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
  • \n
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to complex ER cases
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
  • \n
  • Commercially minded with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • \n
