\nA global marketing and media analytics business is looking for a Lead Analyst - Director of Econometrics to play a key role in building and growing a newly established UK-based data science function. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who combines deep technical MMM expertise with strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
The Role\nYou'll lead the delivery of Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) projects for a range of clients, while helping shape the direction and capabilities of a growing data science team.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Designing, building and implementing MMM solutions from scratch \n
- Using open-source MMM frameworks such as Google Meridian, Robyn and PyMC \n
- Leading end-to-end client delivery, from model development through to recommendations and business impact \n
- Ensuring models are robust, reliable and commercially relevant \n
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting insights and strategic recommendations \n
- Balancing hands-on modelling work with project leadership and stakeholder engagement \n
- Mentoring and managing junior team members \n
- Contributing to the growth and development of the wider data science function \n
- \n
- 8-10 years' experience within Data Science, Marketing Science or Analytics \n
- Strong Python expertise \n
- Proven experience building MMM models from scratch \n
- Deep understanding of statistical modelling techniques and model evaluation \n
- Previous experience within an agency, consultancy or client-facing analytics environment \n
- Strong stakeholder management and client presentation skills \n
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment \n
- Passionate about building processes, capabilities and teams from the ground up \n
