HR Assistant
Job Description
Full time permanent position Hybrid - working from home 2 days per week and 3 days in the office.
\nWe’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team, based from our Bristol office. You’ll play a key role in supporting HR operations across four countries (as well as interaction with the European HR Team) — helping to ensure our people processes run smoothly and consistently across borders.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is early in their HR career and eager to gain broad, international experience across the full employee lifecycle, in a fast-moving organisation.
\n\nKey Responsibilities
\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across all regions, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
\nSupport the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal changes, and offboarding processes to deliver a positive employee experience.
\nCoordinate recruitment administration, including job postings, interview scheduling, and offer documentation.
\nAssist with payroll preparation by gathering and verifying data for each country’s payroll cycle.
\nSupport absence management, tracking, and reporting across all regions.
\nLiaise with HR contacts and external legal partners as required.
\nAct as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing timely and professional support and escalating where appropriate.
\nAssist with employee relations cases by providing administrative support while maintaining strict confidentiality.
\nContribute to employee engagement initiatives and internal communications, including supporting company events and activities.
\nAssist with coordinating training and development activities, tracking participation and supporting learning initiatives.
\nWhat We’re Looking For
\nPrior experience in an HR, admin, or people-focused role.
\nStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
\nConfident communicator, written and verbal.
\nComfortable working across multiple time zones and cultures.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
\nAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion.
\nA collaborative, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
\nExperience with an HRIS is beneficial.
\nKnowledge of EU employment law is a distinct advantage.
