Xpert Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a busy and growing commercial vehicle operation, looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team. If you enjoy variety in your work and want to avoid the same day-to-day routine, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-equipped, supportive environment. £20.00 per hour | Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:30pmThe Role:Working on a variety of commercial vehicles (predominantly 18 tonnes and above), you'll be responsible for diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while helping the team meet targets.Key Responsibilities:\n

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs

• Preventative and routine maintenance
\n
• Servicing and general mechanical work
\n
• Repairing engines, clutches, gearboxes, and brakes
\n
• MOT preparation and presentation
\n

About You:\n

• Proven experience as an HGV/Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
\n
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
\n
• Class 1 licence (MUST HAVE)

• Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
