Reed are delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation based in the West Malling area, who are seeking an ambitious and driven Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant to join their team.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with early-stage finance experience who are keen to build and develop their career within a supportive and progressive environment.

The Role

You will be involved in a variety of transactional finance duties, including:

• Processing accounts payable and receivable
\n
• Bank reconciliations
\n
• Assisting with month-end procedures
\n
• Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
\n
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
\n

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

\n
• Have 1–3 years’ experience within a transactional finance role (Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or similar)
\n
• Possess strong attention to detail and organisational skills
\n
• Have a proactive and positive attitude
\n
• Be studying, or looking to begin, your AAT qualification (desirable)
\n
