Administrator – R&D Team Support
\nLocation: LoughboroughSalary: £30,000- £37,000 (depending on experience)
\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded and design-led manufacturing business as an Administrator within the Research & Development team. This role offers the chance to work closely with product designers and gain valuable exposure to product development, compliance, and certification processes across a range of household products.
\nThe Role
\nYou will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the R&D function by providing proactive and organised administrative support. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers, you will help keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance records.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including placing orders for stock and product samples from UK and international suppliers \n
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and internal documentation \n
- Coordinate with suppliers, testing labs, and internal departments to support project progress \n
- Track project milestones and ensure deadlines are met \n
- Maintain and organise technical files, compliance documentation, and records \n
- Monitor and file test reports, certificates, and supplier documentation \n
- Support product testing and certification processes (e.g. UKCA, CE, UL) \n
- Assist with regulatory requirements (e.g. WEEE, ERP) \n
- Contribute to the review of product specifications and materials for compliance \n
About You
