This is a hands-on, varied and fast-paced role supporting critical customer sites with temporary boiler and heating solutions across the region.

This is NOT a planned maintenance role — we are looking for an engineer who thrives in a reactive, fast-response hire environment, where no two days are the same.

You will be responsible for installation, commissioning, servicing, fault-finding and breakdown response on commercial temporary heating and boiler systems, both depot-based and on customer sites across the Midlands.

\n

Systems typically range from 600kW to 2MW (Gas & Oil) and include forced draft burner technology and associated control systems.

The role will involve:

  • \n
  • Supporting complex installs (occasionally requiring 1–2 nights away)
  • \n
  • Working both on-site and depot-based when not attending jobs

  • \n
  • Flexible, hands-on and comfortable working in varying conditions
