Job Description
You will lead the site engineering function, taking ownership of maintenance strategy, plant reliability and engineering performance. You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operation of all equipment and infrastructure, while driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and team capability.

\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead and develop the site engineering and maintenance function \n
- Drive reliability, uptime and performance across plant and equipment \n
- Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies \n
- Own and improve CMMS planning, scheduling and execution \n
- Lead root cause analysis and reduce repeat failures \n
- Ensure full compliance with UK regulations (COMAH, PSSR, LOLER, PUWER etc.) \n
- Support process safety, HAZOP/HAZID and site HSE initiatives \n
- Manage audits, risk assessments and statutory compliance \n
- Lead and develop a multi-skilled engineering team \n
- Deliver engineering KPIs (uptime, MTBF, MTTR, compliance) \n
- Support capital projects, upgrades and new technology introduction \n
Profile
\nThe Person
\n- \n
- Proven experience in an Engineering Manager (or senior supervisory) role within manufacturing \n
- Strong electrical engineering background (automation, controls, industrial systems) \n
- Experience managing CMMS and driving maintenance improvements \n
- Strong knowledge of UK regulatory requirements (COMAH, LOLER, PSSR, PUWER) \n
- Experience leading and developing multi-skilled engineering teams \n
