Job Description
Our client is currently recruiting for a Horizontal Borer to join their precision engineering team. The Horizontal Borer will have experience of interpreting drawings and manual horizontal boring experience.

This will be based onsite 39 hours a week with plenty of chance to work over time.

Key Responsibilities for the Horizontal Borer
\n
\n - Working to coordinates, boring holes with Wolhaupter Boring Heads, Milling, Drilling and Tapping
\n - Manufacturing small 1 to 5 off batches, castings in cast iron or aluminium or welded fabrication
\n
\n
Key Experience for the Horizontal Borer
\n
\n - Experience with Boring machines, preferably apprenticed trained with experience setting up workpieces for finish machining.
\n - Good measurement skills using bore micrometres
\n - Be able to interpret 2D drawings
\n
