Location : Bridgend (Hybrid working offered)Salary: Circa £45,000

Autograph Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-established international organisation in their search for an experienced Senior Logistics & Freight Forwarding Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in freight forwarding. You'll play a key role in overseeing international logistics operations, ensuring complex shipments are delivered efficiently whilst supporting and mentoring the wider team.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end movement of international shipments across air, sea and road freight, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and fully compliant with international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing international freight movements from start to finish
\n
• Coordinating air, sea and road shipments across multiple countries
\n
• Selecting the most appropriate transport methods and shipping solutions
\n
• Negotiating rates with freight partners, carriers and suppliers
\n
• Managing customs documentation, import/export procedures and Incoterms
\n
• Liaising with customers, agents and transport providers throughout the shipping process
\n
• Resolving shipment issues quickly and efficiently
\n
• Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
\n

About You:

We're looking for someone who has extensive freight forwarding experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment.

You'll have:

• Proven experience within freight forwarding or international logistics
\n
• Excellent knowledge of air, sea and road freight
\n
• Understanding of customs procedures, VAT and import/export documentation
\n
• Experience negotiating with freight providers and logistics partners
\n
• The ability to manage multiple complex shipments simultaneously
\n
• A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills
\n
