The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development of the London team while leading the delivery of innovative fire engineering solutions. - Support the day-to-day leadership of the London Fire Engineering team. \n
- Manage team workload, resources, and project allocation. \n
- Mentor and develop engineers at all levels. \n
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives. \n

- Work closely with senior leadership to support team growth and strategic objectives. \n

- Lead fire engineering projects from concept through to completion. \n
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on complex and non-standard projects. \n
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through robust review and quality assurance processes. \n
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams. \n
- Attend and lead client, design, and site meetings. \n

- Support the planning and delivery of multiple concurrent projects. \n
- Assist with resource forecasting and workload management. \n
- Identify and manage project risks, programme challenges, and delivery pressures. \n
- Help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. \n

- Build and maintain strong client relationships. \n

- Proven experience within a fire engineering consultancy environment. \n
- Experience leading projects and supporting or managing teams. \n
- Degree qualified in Fire Engineering, Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. \n
- Chartered Engineer status preferred, or actively working towards chartership. \n
- Strong technical knowledge of fire safety design principles and modelling tools. \n
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers. \n
- Experience managing workloads, resources, and competing priorities. \n
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills. \n
- Collaborative approach with a commitment to technical excellence and team success. \n
