Warehouse OperativeLocation: FawleyPay: £13.49 per hour (paid weekly)Hours: 07:00 – 16:00, Monday to FridayContract: Temp to permWe are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operator to join our team in Fawley. This role reports directly to the Warehouse Team Lead and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a busy, safety focused warehouse environment, with the possibility of longer term employment.Key Responsibilities:\n

• Working safely at all times in compliance with site Health & Safety procedures
\n
• Taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others
\n
• Operating within site Personnel Safety Management Systems (PSMS)
\n
• Picking and issuing materials to site
\n
• Storing materials in racking and shelving locations
\n
• Delivering materials to site using a van or forklift truck
\n
• Loading and unloading materials using a forklift truck
\n
• Manning the warehouse service counter
\n
• Goods receipting and processing deliveries
\n
• Data entry into the warehouse management system (SAP) and spreadsheets
\n
• Dispatching materials
\n
• Participating in an on-call rota for site emergency material requests
\n
• Working additional hours when required to support the customer
\n
• Responding to ad hoc requests from management
\n

What We’re Looking For:\n

\n
• Good numeracy, literacy, communication skills, and attention to detail
\n
• IT literate
\n
• Forklift truck experience
\n
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently as well as part of a team
\n
• Ability to take initiative while knowing when to seek support
\n
• A valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points (speeding offences only)
\n
