Interim Accountant – Children's Social Care

£450 per day (Inside IR35) | Hybrid Working | West London Local Authority

We're working with a Local Authority in West London to recruit an experienced Interim Accountant to support their Children's Social Care finance team.

They'll provide financial management support across the directorate, including budget monitoring, forecasting, financial reporting, business partnering with budget holders, grant management, and supporting the delivery of year-end activities. Also playing a key role in monitoring Children's Social Care staffing budgets and establishment reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven Local Authority finance experience

• Previous experience supporting Children's Social Care
\n
• Experience managing and monitoring grant funding
\n
• Experience supporting Children's Social Care staffing budgets, including establishment control and workforce financial reporting
\n
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering experience
\n
• Knowledge of Local Government finance processes and systems
\n
