Temporary Payroll Clerk Stevenage Immediate Start Temporary Assignment - Approximately 5-6 Weeks Monday to Thursday Competitive Hourly Rate We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join a busy finance team in Stevenage on a temporary basis for approximately 5-6 weeks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and provide support during a particularly busy period. Key Responsibilities:

• Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time
\n
• Maintaining employee payroll records
\n
• Calculating statutory payments including SSP, SMP and SPP
\n
• Processing starters, leavers and payroll amendments
\n
• Handling payroll queries from employees and managers
\n
• Producing payroll reports as required
\n
• Supporting the wider finance team with payroll administration
\n

The Ideal Candidate: \n

\n
• Previous payroll experience is essential
\n
• Confident user of Sage 50 Payroll
\n
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
\n
• Available to start immediately or at short notice
\n
