- Contract duration: Up to 6 months initially \n
- Rate: £22.41 per hour (PAYE) \n

- Working hours: Monday – Friday, standard office hours \n
- Working Mode: Hybrid \n

Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance and absence management \n
- Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, redeployment and redundancy processes \n
- Advise on recruitment, onboarding, probation and retention strategies \n
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to deliver people-focused solutions aligned to business needs \n
- Support job evaluation processes and maintain accurate job description records \n
- Ensure accurate HR data management and support reporting requirements \n
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders including managers, trade unions and internal teams \n
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems \n
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion across all HR activities \n
- Support employee wellbeing initiatives, including working with Occupational Health where required \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience \n
Experience & Knowledge:
\n- \n
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role \n
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice \n
- Previous experience within a Local Authority, Council, or similar public sector environment is required \n
- Experience handling a range of employee relations cases \n
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment \n
