Care Assistant - Island Placements (Urgent Start)
\n\nLocations: Care Homes across Shetland, Orkney, Western Isles, & Argyll and Bute
\nPay Rates: £23.00/hr (Umbrella) | £17.91/hr (PAYE Rolled-Up)

- Umbrella: £21.00 per hour \n
- PAYE (Rolled-Up): £17.91 per hour \n
- Guaranteed Hours: 45+ hours per week (excellent earning potential!). \n
- Adventure & Experience: Live and work in incredibly scenic, close-knit island communities. \n
- Travel-Ready: Open to candidates willing to relocate/travel from anywhere in the UK. \n

- Hours: 45+ hours per week. \n
- Flexibility Required: Ability to work 5-6 days per week. \n
- Shifts: Typically between 07:00 - 22:00 (including potential for split shifts, long days, and night shifts). \n

- Direct Care & Support: Provide high-quality, person-centered care to older adults within a care home setting, strictly following personalized care plans. \n
- Daily Living Assistance: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. \n
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and closely monitor resident well-being. \n
- Safety & Teamwork: Maintain a safe, supportive living environment, managing moving and handling tasks safely, and undertaking lone working duties where required. \n

- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting older adults in a care setting (previous care home experience is highly preferred). \n
- Core Skills: Proficient in personal care, safe moving and handling, and medication administration. \n
- Location Flexibility: Previous experience with island or remote placements is a major plus, but not essential. \n
- Driving License: A driving license is preferred due to travel distances, but not mandatory. \n
- Gender-Specific Roles: We are specifically seeking female staff due to the personal care requirements of our current residents; however, male staff may be utilized in certain circumstances.* \n
